My story

I am Fernando Cabestany, an insatiably curious Creative Director, Speaker, and Author, passionate about building brands. I work with forward-thinking business owners that work towards a higher purpose. I have been helping big and small companies connect with their customers for over 20 years across different industries, continents, and cultures.

I've had big and small titles with companies of all sizes, from Graphic Designer to Art Director and Design Director. I have worked for companies in Mexico, Canada, the US, the UK, Germany, and China. Most recently, as Creative Director for online retailer Zappos, working on their internal culture and special projects. In looking to find my next step and a way to use my skills for good, the natural evolution was brand coaching for purpose-driven brands. After over 20 years of learning from great mentors and leading and developing creative teams working for brands worldwide, I believe that the most valuable resource in every project is the people behind it.

What does ikemi mean?

Ikemi is a combination of the nicknames my kids call each other; it's a crucial part of my own story and reminds me of why I do what I do. I believe that every person, brand, and journey is full of golden nuggets.
